Radar Needs a Foster Home

Radar is temporarily staying with us and is doing really well. He gets along well with the resident dogs and is a perfect gentleman in the house. He's very calm in our apartment and just loves lounging by my feet or laying on his bed and watching me work. Radar enjoys going for walks and will let us know when he needs to go outside. He knows some basic commands including sit, down, and wait.

The ideal foster home for Radar is one where he won't be left completely alone for too long as he does have some separation anxiety. He seems to be just fine as long as he has another canine companion around to keep him company so if you work from home or have a another dog, you could be the perfect foster for sweet Radar!

Meet Radar! He is in need of a foster home or adopter

Meet Radar! He is a loving, friendly black lab mix. He is very sweet and has many fans around Homeward Trails! We are sure you are going to be his fan, too. He is a total lovebug that loves to snuggle and get attention.

Radar is 10 years young and 50 lbs. He was in a foster home but for no fault of his, his foster could not continue to foster him so now he is boarding. Radar is eager to find a foster or adoptive home soon.

Radar gets along with all people and other dogs. He does not like to be in a crate with the door shut, but will hang out in one with the door open. He also understands a virtual crate and will stay on his blanket and return to it on command. Radar is house trained now that he knows to signal when he needs to go outside. He will make someone a great partner and give his total love to you.

Radar has a tendency to jump fences if left unattended. He is not a barker, so a condo or apartment would be fine for him.
